I recently stayed at Skipjack Resort & Marina for 5 nights and found the accommodations to be spacious and well-maintained. The location is ideal for exploring the Keys and the inviting pool area provided a perfect spot to unwind after work. The staff offered attentive service and the complimentary Continental breakfast had a good variety, making my mornings easy and pleasant.

My wife says that the rooms could use a thorough cleaning, especially the floors, which seemed dirty. It would be great to have more towel hooks for families.

The stay was a well-suited match for a flash visit in Marathon with excellent value for money. The pool was beautifully kept and the kids had a great time. Be ready for limited dining options nearby, especially if traveling with children.

However, the outdoor walk to rooms felt more like condo living than a resort experience, which detracted from privacy, and breakfast service appeared rushed at times.

The fridge and microwave were handy, allowing us to prepare some snacks. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk, where Karla provided great local tips. However, the elevator broke down during our stay, forcing us to climb stairs in the heat. The shower had weak pressure, making it challenging to rinse off after a long day. Dining options were limited. the tiki bar closed unexpectedly during our visit, affecting our plans. Breakfast was mostly pastries and fruit, which could use more variety. Despite these issues, the location was fantastic for venturing into the Keys.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Skipjack Resort. Spacious room, and great access to local attractions. A charming spot for a Florida Keys getaway!

our stay at skipjack resort was wonderful. the heated pool was a family favorite, and the kitchen in the room made our mornings so much easier!

The Deluxe One Bedroom King Suite Balcony was super spacious and clean, definitely felt more like an apartment. The bed was really comfortable, which was great for a good night's sleep. Loved having a mini fridge and microwave for snacks. The bathroom was nice and modern too! Just bummed the balcony view was kinda underwhelming with the car park below.
